The Maple Street Chapel Folk Concert Series in Lombard, Illinois

The Maple Street Chapel Folk Concert Series is proud to bring local and nationally known folk musicians to its stage in a series of concerts that are scheduled about once a month, generally from October through May. Operating costs are derived from ticket sales and the generosity of our sponsors (see below).
The concert series was the brainchild of the late folk singer Bryan Dagenhart, with the purpose of providing additional revenue for the Maple Street Chapel Preservation Society (MapleStreetChapel.org). He was its first Folk Concert Producer and MC. After the first few seasons Bryan turned those duties over to WDCB radio host George Brown, who successfully served the series for many years, and who began the practice of bringing nationally known as well as local artists to the series stage. On George's passing in 2007 the titles were taken up by folk music enthusiast Paul Zimmerman, who for many years has been a regular volunteer at our sister venue, the Two Way Street Coffee House (TwoWayStreet.org) in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Concert Information
Unless otherwise indicated, the entrance fee is $15.00 per person. Some concerts will have a reserved area, but otherwise it is general seating; first come, first choice.
Altough it is not required, tickets may be reserved for most concerts. Simply bring up the website (folk.MapleStreetChapel.org) and click on the “Tickets” button after the artist's name. That will bring up an e-mail form which prompts for the name of the person requesting the tickets, their e-mail address, and the number of tickets to reserve. The reservation will be confirmed by a reply e-mail. There is no additional fee for reserving tickets, and for a variety of reasons the MSC Folk Concerts organizers are happy to provide this service.
For more information call 630-627-0171, mailbox “2.” Ticket reservations may also be made here by leaving a name, an e-mail or a telephone number, the name of the artist, and the number of tickets to reserve.
